HEAL Wellness açaí bowl and menu inside the Pointe-Claire location

The West Island just got a little more smoothie-bowl energy.

HEAL Wellness is now open in Pointe-Claire Village, bringing açaí bowls, smoothies, coffee and enough functional ingredients to make your usual grab-and-go breakfast feel slightly underachieving.

The new spot opened September 5 at 327 Chemin du Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore, right in the village.

And if the HEAL name feels like it suddenly started appearing everywhere, that’s because it kind of did.

So, what exactly is HEAL?

HEAL Wellness started in Hamilton in 2019 with a pretty straightforward idea: healthy food should actually taste good and feel approachable.

Since then, the brand has expanded across Canada and into the U.S., building its menu around thick smoothie bowls, smoothies, coffee and functional add-ons designed for everything from breakfast to post-workout recovery.

Translation: this is very much the place for people who know what creatine is without Googling it.

What’s on the menu?

The OG Açaí Bowl is basically the starting point — organic açaí blended thick and topped with banana, strawberries, blueberries and granola.

From there, things get progressively more wellness-core.

The MANG-GLOW smoothie mixes mango, pineapple, ginger, beet and B12, while the Strawberry Cloud combines strawberries, banana, oat milk, marine collagen, coconut whip and vanilla protein.

Then there’s the Vanilla Date, which comes with dates, banana, cinnamon, creatine, lion’s mane and protein.

The vibe: Your smoothie has a more impressive supplement routine than you do.

Protein can also be added to bowls and smoothies, with options including grass-fed New Zealand whey and plant-based pea protein.

HEAL is going hard on the functional ingredients

This isn’t just fruit thrown into a blender and handed over with a paper straw.

HEAL’s current lineup leans heavily into ingredients like ceremonial-grade matcha, blue spirulina, collagen, creatine, chia seeds, raw cacao and ginger.

Whether you’re deeply invested in the wellness universe or just want something cold that tastes good after the gym, there’s a lot happening here.

Pointe-Claire is HEAL’s latest Quebec move

The new Pointe-Claire store is part of a pretty aggressive expansion for the brand.

HEAL opened its first Quebec location on Décarie Boulevard earlier this year, followed by Griffintown, and the Pointe-Claire opening marked location number 51 for the chain overall.

Which means the West Island didn’t exactly get in early.

But at least we got in.

West Island win: You can now get your açaí bowl without driving downtown and questioning every life choice somewhere around the Turcot.

Worth checking out?

If your usual breakfast falls somewhere between “coffee” and “I forgot,” probably.

HEAL sits in that increasingly popular space between café, juice bar and quick-service restaurant, where you can grab something fast without the meal automatically involving a hash brown.

And the Pointe-Claire Village location makes a lot of sense for the concept — walkable, close to the waterfront and surrounded by the kind of cafés, restaurants and local businesses that already make the area worth wandering around.

Basically, grab a smoothie, walk by the water and pretend you’ve become the type of person who has their Sunday completely under control.
